Our couple first met at Almy’s Italian Restaurant, Don Rigatoni, in December of 2019. At that time, Almy had just taken over the struggling restaurant.

Almy was a one-woman-show. Without receiving as much as a cooking lesson, Almy ran the entire restaurant by herself seven days a week.

Their first date was spent in the Don Rigatoni kitchen. It was there, they got to learn more about each other while Almy simultaneously ran her business. While it was an unconventional first date, after closing time, they stayed up all night, drank wine, traded stories, and laughed.

Since their first date, life has moved pretty fast these two. They’ve been boating in the Ozarks, skiing in Utah, gone to concerts and gone to see comedians, and even whizzing through the sunny Florida skies in a helicopter for their one-year anniversary. In April of 2021, Almy and Zach purchased their first house together in Tampa.
